Bob Godgen bio of Urban Champions
Bob's 40 year career in the Semiconductor Industry included Director responsibilities for Marketing and Sales both Domestic and International, Semiconductor Operations P & L, Quality and Reliability Control, Applications and Field Engineering as well s International Manufacturing. In the Solid State Industry he worked for a Fortune 100 company as well as two smaller fabless companies. He also was the managing consultant at a Northern California manufacturing consulting company covering northern California. Bob has experience and training in product liability law and environmental remediation processes. He was an officer in the US Navy and has been a CFO of a non- profit working in Eastern Europe as well as several faith based organizations in the USA.
Upon retirement in 2003 he volunteered at Silicon Valley SCORE counseling over 1000 small business owners and entrepreneurs since joining. He has three children and five grandchildren. In his career he has traveled extensively throughout the world flying well over 1,000,000 miles during that time. Bob graduated with a Bachelor of Business Degree from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor.
